As a beneficiary of the Sunset Concert programme of the Frank Collymore Hall, Kellie was able to showcase her exceptional talent, and later that of her students, to an appreciative audience, leaving them wanting for more and giving birth to her concert production “Walkin’ in my Own Shoes” which is now one of the most highly anticipated annual fixtures on the event calendar at the Frank Collymore Hall.
We are proud to have been instrumental in fostering and encouraging the talents of our performing artistes in a world-class facility here on home grounds. This is but part of the ethos behind the creation of the Frank Collymore Hall by the first Governor of the Central Bank of Barbados, Sir Courtney Blackman.
Kellie is but one of the artistes that has been able to take the benefit of the Sunset Concert programme and the exposure it provides to carve out a viable space within the Orange Economy.
